First Cut…
Just before we went “home for the holidays” Tim cut the lawn for the first time. It grew in so well…hard to believe it was just seed and not sod.
So…When we got home from our trip the kids played outside ALL day long. From like 9am to 5pm or so. Stopping only to eat and get water. This is as a result of all that play. Mara didn’t get her nap…and so when she came in upset with Ezra…I told her to sit right there until I could clean her feet off. Before I knew it she was fast asleep. Ezra is the background wondering why Mara did not come back out to play.
Ezra loves to color boxes…This is his latest piece of art… a shark. He traced his toy shark then colored it in. I said, “Ezra your box has got to go in the trash now but mommy took a picture of it.” I would keep them all but then I wouldn’t be able to find my way around the house with all of his artwork. But at least he got this picture 
Sweet Ella is FULL of energy! She crawls all around the house, pulls her self up to walk along the couch, takes stuff out of the dishwasher as I am loading…and anything else you can imagine! They grow so fast!
Now, this is cause I LOVE my hunny He now works mostly from home. At the office he would enjoy a good lunch at whatever Restaurant with his buddies…now it’s Peanut butter and jelly or Mac n’ cheese. I wanted him to feel like we can have good lunches at home too…so I made him this yummy salad. Yesterday I mad a Poppy Seed Spinach Salad (It seems like all I make is cookies huh?) and I had left over sugared almonds and Poppy seed vinaigrette dressing. So I Put tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion, crasins, sugared Almonds, Swiss cheese, and Grilled Chicken all on a bed of Romain lettuce JUST for him….I made me one too…I didn’t want to be jealous of his I used the poppy seed dressing and it was so good! He loved it too…
Well, I got some cleaning to do…I’m painting tonight…I’ll post pictures soon
mmm…yummy salad….oh i just realized I didn’t eat breakfast, lunch or dinner…oops! Am I the only one who does that some days?:) Good idea on the picture of Ezra’s picture, I always keep only my favorites then take pictures of the others or things they make with blocks or whatever then we will still have it only a lot less clutter! It’s freezing here! I want to come play on your grass too!
wow i swear you have the picture perfect life/family,or so you make it seem that way. lol you know i’m kidding. but i’m stopping by to say your baby ella is the cutes little baby i have seen wellsince my daughter was born, lets just keep that between me and you though. lol she has to have the most perfect little round face and head she seems so loveable but then again shes still a baby. oh yeah mmmmmm that salad looks tasty im a fan of onions and raisins in salad. talk to you soon.
That is the most beautiful yard of green grass-grown-from-seed-not-sod that I’ve ever seen. I’m slightly jealous as my sod doesn’t even look that good.

I’m impressed with Ezra’s shark too, pretty good for a 4 year old! The picture of Mara cracked me up because I don’t even know how many pictures I have of Cole asleep in chairs or at the table. And then there’s sweet little Ella. She seems to be growing into herself a bit more. I can’t believe how fast she’s growing up! I was sort of out in your area today and wished that I had time to come see you. Sometime soon!!! I miss you! 
That picture of Mara is hallarious! Don’t you wish they would fall asleep that fast when you WANT them to? AND, that they could just sleep anywhere, like a chair? That’s one of those pictures you could use at her wedding reception or for bargining when she gets older…..
You are such an awesome cook, LUCKY man! I love your yard, doesn’t it make life soooo much easier having a place to send the kids! We will definately be heading over your way:o)!
Man, that Ella, what a sweet little doll! Oh and Mara cracks me up too sleeping in a very awkward position. I love Ezra thinking, “What’s going on here!?” Oh and just seeing that salad made me hungry and envious….
